In Essex we have a few candidates standing for both the Labour and Co-operative party, this collaborative approach provides a platform and voice for the values held by both parties. Richard Hyland, standing in Chelmsford West as a Labour and Co-operative Party candidate said "I will work with the Co-operative Party locally to champion and promote co-operation across Essex."

In the spirit of co-operation Edward Massey made this short video to ask members of Chelmsford Co-operative Society to attend the Chelmsford Star Co-operative Society AGM on May 8:  This is a very important occasion for us and I hope that as many members as possible will be able to come.
